I had a date with an ex. He had changed radically in a short period of time. He had dramatically gained weight, and in an odd way, having a visible gut when he had in reality been very thin only a week ago.

I went to pick him up and found that he was planning to reunite with an ex-lover of his, in another city. He suddenly was very financially stable and had bought a plane ticket to the other city and a house there and was planning to move very soon. I spoke to his friend who seemed to humor me by talking to me about my feelings of surprise while seeming very duplicitious about her interest and concern. He had changed completely, in order to please this other woman. I felt so jealous and so betrayed.

I was emailing a friend of mine & I asked her to write two lists... the first was to be all the reasons that she was jealous of me and the other was to be all the reasons that she was better than me... then i asked her to meditate on the lists until she truly understood the ridiculousness of each of them.
